I’m sorry but as much as I love Rex and his determination his zero “zip” on short passes will not fly against ACC competition (he will be picked off left and right)

Probably a bad decision to onside kick it but it's irrelevant. Both options required us to stop their offense and we haven't shown the ability to do that except through a turnover or when they are pinned inside the 10.
