It is a football game. No one is asking an SU fan to convert. So you cannot get hammered at the tailgate, most people don't, anyway. SU has played BYU, I don't recall many conversions (or any for that matter). SU plays Notre Dame, I don't recall any conversions. SU plays Georgetown - if anything, this should make Catholics convert to anything else (even if only during the game).

SU plays Wake Forest and yet again, no conversions. I really don't get the animosity. SU had an opportunity to secure a 2-for-1, secure a little extra time to accommodate Dome renovations, and chalk up a body bag game; they did the right thing.
I get that people are reluctant to support in any way schools they may fundamentally disagree with, but this is a game. If you don't want to go, don't go to the game at Liberty. Games are used to tear down barriers and bridge differences to get along with each other. The fanbases will probably get along fine. They aren't West Virginia!
Their coach may stink as a human being, so what? Most coaches are jerks or worse. There is on one Dino Baber and WE GOT HIM! If SU refused to play schools based on coaches personalities, SU would not play many games.
This is a tune up game for Tommy Devito and Co. They unleash HDCB's crazy fast offense Rev. 4.0 on Liberty. What's not to like?
GO ORANGE! BEAT LIBERTY! Is it football season yet?
