"lightning in a bottle"

It is amazing how quickly the tides turn in South Bend. Both losses are against good teams and have been by less than 7 points. The Michigan loss was just unlucky, and USF is turning alot of heads so far.

Ishaq, Jarron and David Perkins need to pay attention...

Not sure if ND losing is going to influence their decisions dramatically. Ishaq, Jarron and David did not pick ND because of their success on the field, particularly over the last 10 years or so. ND's last NC was in 1988. Since 2003, they have an overall record of 54-45. For an 18-19 year old, that is the history they are most aware of. Kids pick ND for reasons other than what they have been doing on the field the past 10 years. This year will be no different. In fact, didn't Ishaq's father make a big deal out what ND could for his son (networking, TV exposure, prestige, alumni connections, etc) with little mention of winning?

Michigan is not a "good team". They are very average and got very lucky their receivers come down with Denard's stupid heaves.

Who's head is USF turning? They were outgained 2 to 1 by ND, but ND kept shooting itself in the foot so USF escaped with a 3 point win. Then they beat the state of Ball, who beat a seemingly bad Indiana team that has great facilities.

I am sure things will turn around for nd soon if not this weekend.

Look at the rankings. That's who's heads are turning.

Really? Not a good team? They aren't a great team, but they sure as hell aren't an average team either. That puts them in the middle at good.
