Group coming up for Pitt. Would prefer to avoid the quiet fireplacey pipe Smokey traditional type environment if possible. Let me know thanks.
I've been told by friends in Syracuse not as good as it used to be. But Daniella's has been recommended.Haven't been there in many years but I would recommend scotch n sirloin
That exactly what he described he didn’t want to doHaven't been there in many years but I would recommend scotch n sirloin
As others noted, Daniella’s is excellent. Not the greatest atmosphere but five star food and service. And it’s owned by an old West Genesee classmate of mine, Charlie Roman!Group coming up for Pitt. Agree on Francesca’sAs others noted, Daniella’s is excellent. Not the greatest atmosphere but five star food and service. And it’s owned by an old West Genesee classmate of mine, Charlie Roman!
Although it’s primarily an Italian place, Francesca’s on North Salina has excellent dry aged steaks, a great wine list and fantastic desserts.
Or hear me out - pilgrimage to Scotch & Sirloin....my "go to" place ...well...so what... yes, over 5 decades ago...for many a Cusenight hot (and yes, they were "hot"...but, maybe not now...but, at the time they were) date...ahhh...the mammaries)))Or hear me out - pilgrimage to Heid's.
You’re coming up to Syracuse NY. Go Italian. Closest thing to a high end steakhouse is probably at Turningstone.
Rosalie's, Daniella's, Francesca's in that order unless you want to drive to turning stone
Currently Eden is the number 1 steak in cuse. With Daniella’s second. Steak “house” vs steak. It sounds like semantics but the best steak may not be at the best overall “house”. Meat wise it’s currently Eden #1.Daniella’s is going to be your best bet for a more traditional steakhouse, but the atmosphere is lacking as it’s in a motel.
If you want the best steak that you can get in Syracuse, it has to be Eden in Hanover Square.
