Group coming up for Pitt. Would prefer to avoid the quiet fireplacey pipe Smokey traditional type environment if possible. Let me know thanks.

As others noted, Daniella’s is excellent. Not the greatest atmosphere but five star food and service. And it’s owned by an old West Genesee classmate of mine, Charlie Roman!

Although it’s primarily an Italian place, Francesca’s on North Salina has excellent dry aged steaks, a great wine list and fantastic desserts.

Agree on Francesca’s

Daniella’s is going to be your best bet for a more traditional steakhouse, but the atmosphere is lacking as it’s in a motel.

If you want the best steak that you can get in Syracuse, it has to be Eden in Hanover Square.

Joeys downstairs off Carrier circle can also cook a good steak as well. Good Italian menu as well.

strada mia has great steaks too, they’ve really emphasized the cut quality there.

Rosalie's, Daniella's, Francesca's in that order unless you want to drive to turning stone

You’re coming up to Syracuse NY. Go Italian. Closest thing to a high end steakhouse is probably at Turningstone.

Currently Eden is the number 1 steak in cuse IMO. With Daniella’s second. Steak “house” vs steak. It sounds like semantics but the best steak may not be at the best overall “house”. Meat wise it’s currently Eden #1.

Or hear me out - pilgrimage to Heid's.

No dog in the fight as I age and cook my own steaks but Jake’s Grub and Grog has some damn good prime ribs on Mondays for $20. Also their food and service has been excellent.
