I really did like that title. Granted, roster stats are not always completely accurate, but he is listed as 6 ft., 177 lbs. So, not a midget by any means.

Marvin Graves size [more or less]. Here's hoping he can use his elusiveness to avoid taking big hits.

There is a picture from warmups last week and the kid looked jacked. Put on weight, muscle.
This dude needs to join the basketball team where every player magically grows every day. He gets smaller every time I open a new thread on him.
AJ Long, QB from the Shire

[/QUOTE]Graves Looks Like Roman Gabriel Compared To Long.
I looked it up. AJ isYou got me thinking.
So I looked it up.
Graves was 6-2, 195
I sit behind the SU bench, the kid looks like a kicker, I don't care what anyone else says about him, he may be Doug Flutie and a hell of qb but compared to the other 3 he is a runt. I see the kid up close every week, he is the smallest qb I have ever seen at Syracuse. Gymnasts and swimmers are ripped too doesn't mean they are 6' 180 pounds and again doesn't mean the kid won't win the Heisman as smaller qb's can work in the college game but he isn't 6' tall and he isn't 180 pounds
Just goes to show people will debate anything
I do not recall seeing him as a true frosh, but obviously I saw him as a RS frosh.
AJ Long is strikingly small. I was really surprised when I saw him during the spring game.
Marvin Graves was never that small at Syracuse University.
I don't think a comparison can be made between the two.

I see. So 6-0 177 as a true frosh can't be compared to 6-2 195 as a fifth year senior.
The point is, Graves is the QB that he is most comparable to in "recent" program histoy, in terms of physical stature [I exclude Troy Nunes, because I've managed to repress the memory of him QBing here]. He isn't McNabb. He isn't Hunt. He isn't Nunes, or Madei Williams, or RJ Anderson, or Perry Patterson. Those were all bigger QBs who weighed in the neighborhood of 215-230 pounds.
See how this works?
