Now that the watchespn app is defunct. That sucks in that used to love the simplicity of being able to rewatch the games. Does anyone know if the new ACC network tv will have such functionality?

ACCN has replied the FL v Miami game a bunch but I’m not seeing an on demand feature via the channel for it. Like someone else said ACC puts them in YouTube.

wait....so I cannot watch the SU/Liberty game on my Roku through the WatchEspn app?

Both the

both the old “watch espn app” and the new “espn+ app” are inside the normal “espn app”

Looks like they consolidated last year. I paid the $5 already and it works fine for me
Yeah, I just looked at it. I'll pay the $5.00 to watch the game if I don't to a bar to watch it.

Is that replacing the old app? Work the same?
Very similar just you have to pay $5 per month for the ESPN + for now
I know when the Disney streaming service comes out it will be a bundle with ESPN + for I think they said $15 per month

Thanks for the info but Crud, needless confusion sounds like and also we have to pay for it now? Whereas in the past if you were a subscriber it was free. Progress?!

Only on ESPN +
Old checklist for SU Fans:
1. ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU (good luck if they're not playing a top 25 team);
2. One of Raycom's stellar "regional" providers (if they feel like broadcasting it and you happen to live there);
3. WatchESPN/ESPN3 for a replay (hopefully they recorded BOTH halves this time).

New Checklist for SU Fans:
1. ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU (same odds as before);
2. ACCN (many will have to upgrade their already-overpriced cable service);
3. ESPN+ (mysteriously not included for ACCN/ACCNX subscribers and requires even more money);
4. ESPN App (shifting sands availability and functionality).

2. ACCN or dump their overprice cable for YouTube TV <--- one of the best things I've done this year

yep looks like back to the future for me with "taping" the games to also watch later.

i guess the next important question is will we be able to stream from this to the tube? Anyone try it yet?
Good news: My wife might be able to do it from her phone. She's done this before with a video, and I thought it was a fishing story (she "casted" it). ;)

Ok good to hear thanks. This because half the time I'd either forget to tape it or screw it up and end up taping the world axe throwing Championship!

Liberty/ESPN own the right side to Saturday’s game, hence ESPN+ for this one. A trial subscription should suffice.

BTW: it’s “record” not “tape”. ;)

It seems ESPN shut down the free trial for ESPN + last week or I'm just I can't find it now...

The new App is not set up nearly as well as the previous watchespn app but there is an on demand portion that does have prior games. You used to be able to search by Syracuse and get lacrosse or fball or bball or whatever season you were in and see what ESPN game were available for replay. Not sure thats really going to be an option but if you go to conferences and ACC you can see the on demand stuff, just started Miami vs Florida on replay. ACCNx is an option to watch live but I have had a lot of issues getting that to play, I get an error but its blacked out and you can just see the "OK" button.

Espn also owns the ACCN. Should have been on both even if ESPN/ACCN/Disney had to throw Liberty $20k.

The trial link is in this thread and still worked as of late last night:

1. YouTubeTV (auto-record all SU Football games rewatch them over and over again for a year)
2. ESPN+
