Looks like we'll all be "taping" the games again

The trial link is in this thread and still worked as of late last night:

excellent thank you, had to scroll all the way down to the bottom to see it.

It links to an ESPN+ splash page which wants $4.99 a month.

You have to scroll down. There will be a trial link.

It says "Start your trial". $4.99/month. Cancel anytime.

Not start your 7 day free trial.

If you gave them a credit card, you're getting billed.

You do have to give your credit card number. But it should say that you will only be charged if you don’t cancel after 7 days.

Liberty/ESPN own the right side to Saturday’s game, hence ESPN+ for this one. A trial subscription should suffice.

BTW: it’s “record” not “tape”. ;)
No my friend, the young people in my life say it's "DVRing" something. Oy ve I can't keep up

FYI Hulu live is $5 cheaper then YouTube if you want to save that extra $5 to buy espn +. I switched from sling to get ACCN and have no complaints yet.

As Bees poster earlier ... ESPN owns the rights, but it also owns and runs the ACCN. It owns and operates ACCNx as well. ESPN knew about the ACCN .. why not just insert a term in its contract with Liberty that the game will be aired on ACCN/x instead of making existing ESPN/ACCN subscribers pay another $5/month? Maybe the Liberty-SU deal was inked before the ACCN contracts ... but it sure smells like a ponzi scheme. Is this going to happen with every non-conference game, or can ESPN (or the ACC, or SU) just say ... if we play you the game has to be available on the ACCN?

Think of it this way:

For the price of a cheap beer, you can watch the game.

Buck up and spend the $5.

Plus you get ESPN+ for a month and you may find other games you want to watch (i've already watched one other game on the the + this month.)

Already paid up, brother. I just think these media players are running us all around and extending/removing/shifting access to extort money. They should make money, but at some point the FCC should start functioning.

“Record” covers all forms of recording, be it tape, disk or cloud.

So I just looked and the game is on the ESPN app, showing as an ESPN+ game. I haven’t missed a game in a long time that I can remember, live or not. I don’t understand why you all think u need to tape it or can’t see it there. The watch app was just replaced by the ESPN app.

The espn + was on the watch app. But to get it you had to pony up some bucks to view.
