LOS and YAC

That's what the game came down to. We were dominated on both sides of the LOS, really missed Clark on Defense, as it was rare when a DL slowed down, much less tackled a RB.

A big difference I see in most games is consistent yards after contact (YAC) by our opponents and very little from us. Seems we almost always go down from the 1st tackler when we're on Offense and unless Franklin or Ellison are the tacklers, we rarely tackle the guy on Defense until the 3rd or 4th point of contact. Didn't feel like this game was close as the score indicated to me because of this.

biggest plays of the game were the one where nc state had 2nd and like 22 and threw 2 passes behind the LOS and gained 1st down and several missed tackles and then the last 3rd and long that they threw underneath for a 5 yd gain that had mulitple missed and turned into about 20 and led to the late TD. YAC was killer all game. even the bubble screens that went for 10 almost every time.
