Losing on a buzzer beater

When was the last time before today we lost on a true buzzer beater (clock goes zero while ball is in air)? I honestly can’t remember. Was it Cleveland State?
Cleveland State would be my guess

Hasn't it been a long time since we lost on a buzzer beater? Legit the last time I can remember is Cleveland State's 3/4 quart heave.

If there is one thing that's clear, we've won a lot more buzzer beater games than we've lost which makes today a little less painful as we look at things regressing to the mean.

Was there a Nova one we lost? Think there may have been.

OMG I legit just posted the exact same thing with the exact same question and didn't see your post. Mods can you combine the threads? My guess was also Cleveland State.

The last time the shot in the air ended the game though might be Cleveland State, which is absolutely incredible and just goes to show how rarely this happens to us compared to how often we have won in the same manner.

Prior to Cleveland State, was the last one before that Notre Dame in the Dome in 1990 with Digger running around? I can't really think of any others in the 90s or 2000s.

Was the Notre Dame game where we had the ball and got stripped and ND scored at the buzzer?

I only remember Indiana. UGH... no sleep tonight now.

Ok not at the buzzer but still

2.5 seconds left. Frank dribbled back the other way and had a half-court shot attempt. But yeah that was awful. My biggest memory from that was a shocking lack of hustle from Frank. The offensive rebound put back probably wouldn't have happened if he kept running.

IIRC, Clemson at the dome a few years ago was a buzzer beater three at the end, but to tie. They won in OT.

Don't remember the year but I totally remember Howard Eisley of BC hitting a shot at the buzzer at the dome to beat us.
Edit: Looked it up. Apparently there was .6 seconds left when that shot went in.

i seem to remember a half court bank shot that won or tied us during the regular season . it wasn't UNCC plavich but maybe somebody from providence or the hall ? and he was a big dude. not a sniper.

edgar bennett for ND at the buzzer with Digger Phelps dancing over to shake hands with Jimmy, still pisses me off.
