Unbelievable that this many guys are hurt. The timing of it is just awful. Had a chance to get momentum going and lose both starting guards in the same week.

Someone needs to give me a real reason why AJs height is impacting his play. The dude had no batted balls, was running for his life all day, and threw for 300 yards while getting smacked around. I saw nothing today indicating his height was a problem today.

The interception was not because he couldn't see the guy. He was anticipating the throw and didn't anticipate a DE dropping into coverage.

True but 4 of the 5 are back ups playing due to injury. And AJ Long is FARRRRR superior to Hunt. Give him another yer and he'll be great. He made some great passes with touch...and 2 bad inexperienced mistakes that cost the game. Hunt is a terrible thrower (not a passer).

He threw it right in his hands. The only way he could have done that was because he merely did not see it.

I hope he did not see him or that's a whole nother problem. He needs protection though... Line was terrible.

So what, you were trying to make a point about his height. You can't just take the data points you like and ignore the ones you don't. Realistically, he is a turnover machine so far. He needed a RS year but we had to burn it. He won't be ready util next year, if then. What we are watching is the reason he was behind Wilson. Hopefully he develops but right now he is not ready. You're just being belligerent. I thought we were talking about height as a limiting factor, not comparing the two QBs in any other way. This has been discussed to death. There are, and have always been, plenty of less than tall QBs who excelled.

I never said he was ready. Clemson was a single game. And BTW, Eli Manning eats a ton of passes and he is 6'4. He seems pretty good...

Hard to say. Getting the ball out on time prevents sacks. Going through progressions faster prevents sacks. AJ didn't escape but a couple of times and he fumble once trying. Wilson knows the offense better and has a better arm. Season is gone now they should try everybody.

who was out today? It's hard to read the numbers on the new jerseys from section 310, but I am nearly positive that I saw Trudo and Robinson out there.

There's a story on syracuse.com about it. Robinson started but only played 4 series. Trudo went the whole way. Right guard was a revolving door.

Robinson went out early. Trudo played but not at 100%. Foy is out. Miller isn't 100% yet. Emerich, our back up center played guard. Palmer has had to play tackle instead of guard. It's pretty much a mess.

One of the reasons why it seemed that AJ was running for his life all day (besides the porous OL) was because we utilized a number of designed roll-out plays to help neutralize the up-field push of the NCSt DL and overcome AJ's height issues. I liked this adjustment by Lester.
