Ok state was banned from post season play and it kicked in after they lost in the second round
is this true?

they appealed the ban and the NCAA has stayed silent on it, just so they can play and the possible overall number one pick in the draft would help ratings. I don't think the NCAA has ruled on the appeal yet, but you can be sure that right after the season ends they will probably deny the appeal, which means next year is their ban. then again, since this isn't Syracuse, they will probably overturn the ban and will give their program all of the wins they took from JBis this true?
Glad this is what tax dollars are being spent on. The real pressing matters in our country.
This is one part of an on-going investigation of stock and mail fraud. The whole Adidas thing dropped into the FBI's laps when someone they were investigating for fraud unexpectedly started talking with Adidas reps. The charge is something along the lines of "denial of honest services to an organization receiving Federal funds (i.e. LSU because it receives research and Pell Grant money). The potential punishment is up to 20 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.Glad this is what tax dollars are being spent on. The real pressing matters in our country.
I understand how we got here. Using federal resources to investigate college basketball is silly no matter how you explain it to me and what it’s a part of in the big picture. LOL, the "punishment" was mitigated by exemplary cooperation, GTFOH.
Do we know how many scholarships they are losing?LOL, the "punishment" was mitigated by exemplary cooperation, GTFOH.
Lesson learned is you fight sanctions the entire way. Never agree to cooperate.
I'm just shocked that the amounts were so small.Shocker.
