Anyone have a good report on them?

Checking the stats, at first glance, this seems like a team we should be able to compete with.

They don't seem to do anything really well.

They have 2 guys we need to guard so we probably won't guard them. Jones and Johnson. We will(should) see Kadary quick as they are one of the best perimeter defensive teams in the conference, but just so/so offensively.

Watching GT. What I would do to have Moses Wight on SU. He’s tough and his motor never stops. Marek will foul out in twenty minutes.

they're relatively small (all players in their main rotation are 6'8 or shorter) and don't shoot particularly well, except for the 2 that 0307 noted above. typical "hard nosed" Chris Mack team, play tough/gritty. I think mostly an aggressive m2m

The more I watch GT the better I like them. They are tough and have good chemistry. I think they’re one of the top four teams in the conference. Wright looks like an all ACC player. They looked great last Saturday beating FSU.

you will see that high zone again as our forwards will cheat way up high. Their two guards as the top players and shooters. Wouldn't be shocked to see us give up a big game inside to Withers since so much attention up top. Richmond likely to see a very big role given the athletic and physical nature of Ville.

Cuse!

Louisville will be playing their third game in five days when we play on Wednesday. Could be a factor. Their guards dominate the ball.

Ga Tech is good. We will have our hands full with both the Cards and the Jackets.

Only go 7 deep most nights, must be poor coaching. Johnson is their main 3 point threat but has been slumping. 6-20 from 3 and 14-40 overall in his last 4 games. Not overly big - they go 6'8", 6'7", 6'5" up front but looks like they all go after the class with 4 guys averaging more that 5 boards per game. They are 4th in the ACC in rebounding margin. Had their game agains BC potponed Saturday but the are currently blowing out a good Georgia Tech team

Louisville looks good today. Really going after the ball and playing tough defense. GT looks a little flat after beating FSU on Saturday. Zone is the way to go against Louisville. Just have to keep them off the boards. Guys like a Williamson will kill us on the boards and in the high post area.

Moses Wright goes after every block. Weak side rebounding should be available.

Louisville guards don’t let people get by them. Hopefully, we can spread the floor a little and let Quincy and Marek go off the dribble. Buddy and Joe will not get by Jones or Johnson. .

Lou doesnt score.. the muck the game up and slow it down and then it becomes a physical game of rebounding. look at the team stats we do pretty much everything better. they dont block shots which is nice..

Last game, we started the second half contesting 5 of 7 shots with a tipped ball out of bounce and forcing 4 turnovers. Come Hungry orange!

Key stat:

SU - 9-0 when winning rebound battle
SU 1-5 when losing rebound battle (NC state was the win)

Lou has a short frontline...QG should do work (hopefully marek too)
