Love Melo but...

And there it is. Someone who "loves Melo", but comes in here to rip him when he's got 37! The Knicks would've been down 25 if he didnt go crazy the first 3 quarters.

Godspeed to you OP. I don't care how accurate or innaccurate your post might be, PEACE BE WITH YOU!

my original post might have been a little bit dramatic, and I really do love melo and he carried them for 3 qtrs. but wow... bthat was just a terrible stretch he had at both ends of the floor. the missed shots are one thing - that can happen to anyone, but the two passes to no one that lead to run outs, and getting torched on D just isn't acceptable for a player of his caliber. The play by play is below it doesn't lie.

Carmelo missed a few shots. you are the winner of the internet

check the foul discrepancy .. then tell me its on melo.. check the fact ny was called for nearly 40 more fouls than indy in just the last 3 games..

Refs were bad, agreed.

But- check the points in the paint and rebounding discrepancy. Jacking threes doesn't usually lead to foul opportunities.

The 3 biggest plays of the game, once crunch time arrived, were the Hibbert block, and the two MCW-like passes. The Knicks need to blow it up and start over.

the knicks should have played better but honestly if the series is officiated just a little more evenly who knows what happens? indiana got 1/3 of their points at the line.. ny attacked just as often as the pacers..it is what it is .. would much rather have seen them just let them play..

On those passes it was almost like he was thinking "ok...people say I shoot too much...I need to make some good passes here". Maybe I'm overanalyzing.

he made a couple of bad plays, but lets not go too far here

I don't think I've ever witnessed an nba star play a worse qtr.
Lol! Durant vs Memphis a couple of days ago...Durant had his worst game of the year literally!

I may have gone too far. granted. But it wasn't a couple - in the 7 minutes where they went from up one to down 5 he was 0-6 with three turnovers and got beat by west for the two off the offensive board and lance beat him for a three point play. That is 11 bad plays with one good one - the pass to jr for the three. really tough stretch. which is probably how I should have referred to it - a VERY tough stretch of plays.

Just went to the numbers...Melo's was worse. Durant had 4 assts and 3 boards in the 4th at least. So someone will need to go more than 48 hours back to prove me wrong...

yeah you're right, Carmelo sucks. good work dude

thanks 'dude'.
it's incredible, I just needed you to open my eyes as to how much Carmelo sucked. now I realize that the guy is the epitome of suck. just wanted to thank you for that.

ha. I never said he sucked. He is great. But he did play a really historically bad qtr of basketball. In retrospect I probably could have kept that post to myself. Also, I think you may possibly be a bit of a orange homer.
