LSU coach Ed Orgeron said on his radio show Wednesday night that running back Derrius Guice will not play against Syracuse on Saturday night.

LSU only put up 25 on BYU who has an S&P ranking of 89th, while Syracuse sits at about 50. So I don't think they is going to be the 40-10 blowout some are predicting. I'll go with:

I would be surprised if LSU puts up over 40. If they do it's because the defense capitalized on turnovers (ie, scored TD after interception/fumble). Their offense isn't designed to score quickly and Coach O has already stated on his radio show they intend to slow it down to keep our O off the field. Plus, they are a running team first and foremost, and unless they break multiple 50+ yard runs, they won't score more than 3 TDs.
