No way LSU runs that gauntlet of Ole Miss, Bama, @ Arkansas, @ aTm undefeated, but god would it be funny if they did.

why does LSU get a say in not playing the game when a slot is available.. I know its a hardship but other teams play 3 games not at home in a row and its a league game they should have to play if possible.

You can't be too careful, they should move the game to the Carrier Dome just to be safe.

Actually delaying the WF game to 12/3 would be good for us. We'd get an extra week to heal and an extra week of practice.

Just have these two teams play Dec. 3rd. It's not like they'll be in the SEC Champ. game.

Or have Georgia/Florida moved up to Oct. 22, and then the LSU/Florida moved to Oct. 29.

Or play this game in Jacksonville this weekend. Or Sunday.

I honestly can't believe they cancelled with no makeup date. This isn't FAU/La Lafayette or something.

This, if true, is rediculous. This is a big game and Gainesville is well inland. Plenty of options to play this game. @lsu, mobile, one of the miss schools.

It's supposed to be clear and sunny Saturday.

It is still possible, we only have 1 division loss, if we run the table in the division and beat VT we would be in over Clemson but would need Louisville to lose another division game.

They "could" possibly move the SEC Championship game back a week to December 10, allowing LSU to visit the Gators on December 3rd. The Georgia Dome schedule is clear between Falcons games on Dec 4 and 18. Probably easier for the dome staff as they wouldn't have to change the field overnight following the SECCG as they do under the current schedule.
