Luke Carney

That is a very tough call in today's day and age, to bring in a true freshman, who might literally be very talented. However people very close to him could very well say I do not think that is a good idea, we had every intention on red shirting this year. We live in a different age. Look at Eric Dungey, my gosh how he did not get a red shirt year is criminal. Tough call all the way around no matter what. I truly love how Ricky competed to the end. Really great kid, However defensive backs truly truly love quarterbacks like him. He locks in and does not leave, with no check down at this point. I trust that changes, I believe he improved in the second half for sure. Certainly not the greatest still however improvement noted. The 2nd interception, I will be curious to see who that is on. In any event very bad communication and this team better not quit on him.
What?!? Seriously, what?!

I thought it was pretty self explanatory? These things do happen, especially with Angeli coming back for potentially two more years... Did you play football or see where we Live Today?

If I was his agent would already be talking to teams closer to home. If he can't get into a game like that with Steve and Rickie coming back better to go somewhere else. That way you don't burn a redshirt year for nothing. Staying here you wouldn't see the field until your junior year.
Definitely valid points, so many variables

Two weeks to get Luke ready for Pitt. It seems clear that Rickie will never be the answer at this level, so why not build for the future. What do we have to lose?

What a loser comment. Your the parent that ruins youth sports

Rickie led the team in rushing. Luke seems to be dual threat. And that is not even considering Williams and Belin and Villari. Losing WRs left and right. Let’s start morphing the 2025 offense into one using QB mobility. Next year we can go back to Nixon’s bread and butter. We put WRs into the NFL with a triple option. Nobody’s stats or career should take a serious hit.
