My only gripe is that he said "the numbers". There are no numbers. It just makes him sound dumber. If he explained that "recent history would place Syracuse here and I don't see any reason why this season would be different." I could deal with that, but pretending that he has some data that would support this is absurd. We have been on or near the bubble each of the past 7 years, and we lost 6 out of our top 8 scorers from last year. What were people expecting?

You know who does play his best players? Pop. Will you join me in congrats to pop for the amazing job he did in bringing home the gold for the USA. What a coach. He’s been reading this board and discovered that JB doesn’t like to play his best players.
Yes. Just as I predicted, but please stay on topic. You know who does play his best players? Pop. Will you join me in congrats to pop for the amazing job he did in bringing home the gold for the USA. What a coach.
It only matters where you finish.Exactly! We have been a consistent middling team in the ACC ever since joining for the most part, with our overall conference record hovering at/around .500. We have yet to make it to an ACC tournament semi-final. Additionally, as it has been mentioned, we have not been ranked in the Top 25 during the regular season come January since 2014.
It's interesting how two consecutive and somewhat unexpected W's come the 3rd week in March seemingly erases so much for some, and their apparent perception of who we truly are and have become.
We weren’t on the best track even without the suspension. We lost games before and after the suspension we should’ve won. When we have good teams we tend to do well in early season tourneys. See 2016- which took a detour given the JB suspension. Since then the non conference early season challenges have been full of failure. I don't expect we peak too soon but to win a good number of these early games would change the narrative quickly and absent a collapse after that pretty much would lock us into the post season. For now I don't have a bone to pick being projected here.
It's always on topic to cheer on the old Red White and Blue. Please join me once again, thanking Pop for a masterful job, once again.Yes. Just as I predicted, but please stay on topic.
Personally I've been expecting to see Lunardi in Hell, regardless. We have been on or near the bubble each of the past 7 years, and we lost 6 out of our top 8 scorers from last year. What were people expecting?
