Malachi James transferring to EMU

No specific call-out to HCFB. 8 other coaches mentioned. Interesting...
Until I see someone besides Allen who was here before Nixon got here and had to play.
Not sure anyone will be effective as a running back with Nixon as the OC. Allen as much as McCord made that offense go, he was a solid runner, excellent blocker, and always an escape valve for McCord when everything blew up.
Allen always got the extra yards running or a 1st down on a short pass. Scored TD's when nothing was there. He was the biggest loss.

I feel like his dad making a point about the PT “properly diagnosing the issue” makes me completely speculate that SU medical staff and the James fam didn’t agree on whatever was plaguing Malachi

It happens. Change of scenery can be good! Whatever happened, happened. Best of luck to him and the family

But Allen was effective, so not sure you are making your point.

Maybe we gave the wrong running back “the talk”
Yes let's keep the one that can never get on the field and is just now finding out waht is wrong with his leg.
That's greathe had a nice 99 yard run in a scrimmage.

He might also be medicially DQ'd if it is a cronic leg injury. I know speed is great to have but this one didn't work out.

But he has shown in the NFL already that he makes a team better just by being in the lineup. That's him not Nixon as an OC, Nixon this year showed no ability to use his running
backs effectively. And if he doesn’t do a better job next year with a new OL coach.
Who has been good everywhere he was then we need someone else.
Next year Nixon has no excuses if the offense doesn't work, and he doesn't adjust.

Yea maybe I’m just coping it sucks I wish him all the best.

Don’t think you can parse out credit like that.

Sorry to lose Malachi and the James family. I am still excited to watch him tote the rock at the next stop.
He’s not alone though, other kids have gotten the talk and will be entering the portal it’s just not public yet.

He’s a track athlete, not a football player. His body couldn’t handle the physical beating. He didn’t have any wiggle either. Wish him the best. Looks like the talks are starting to take place.
I don't think it had anything to do with taking a beating on the field. I believe in high school he was also hurt while running track. Unfortunately, it's like that for some guys.

If I had to guess the Syracuse Medical staff are pushing for him to Medically retire and Frans on board with it and Troy James is telling people that that it's to free up a spot for Toosii, just my guess.

No idea what is going on here but why am I not surprised that Twitter/X is being used to fuel whatever negatives there can be related to this situation. (feel free to add meme of old man yelling at a cloud here lol).

Best of luck to him, but isn't he more of a track guy than a football guy anyway? Not to mention he's hurt a ton? It's not like he was a key established starter.

Hope the kid does well no matter what he does. I honestly feel he could be a track Olympian. His h.s. Time was 10.16 I think. That’s fast as h. Sounds like they figured out the injury and hoping it was just something they could fix with training. Could be a 9.6 kid or man in a few. Anyone with high end track thoughts about this.

Above posts go from can't do the job because he's too light, to always injured and medically retired, to being "given the talk", ad nauseum. And ALL the posters have insider knowledge to what's inside Fran Brown's head. I don't know what's true from what's B.S. I wish we had a checkmark like Facebook that verifies the sender.

If it was 85° and sunny outside, and someone on twitter claimed it would snow tomorrow, people would believe twitter.
