I thought the big state schools with huge enrollment were going to be our biggest adversaries for NIL players (Texas, Florida, Ped ST, Ohio St., Michigan, etc.). Now SMU, Notre Dame, TCU, Brigham Young, (heck even Liberty) have money burning a hole their pockets to get players.

Well we did ok without him for most of the year thankfully. We were 3-2 in games he played in and we were 6-1 without him. I know he alone wouldn’t determine wins or losses but that said - we were and will be okay.

Tough schedule next year..I'm thinking they gonna have to fight to finish 500

A good friend of mine is an SMU alumnus. Retired, wealthy, too poor to be an SMU "booster". SMU has money coming out their ears. I would not be surprised to see them obtain linemen to compete with Clemson and SEC schools this year and next.
