Horrible ref calls in the second half. Like they were focused on defeating Gonzaga.
Totally disagree. Nothing was called on the Zags. They only had 3 team fouls with 4 minutes to play. The bias was against Arkansas. Tons of no calls on the Hogs. The Zags had a lot of layups blocked, but I didnt see any fouls just soft inside play by the Zags.

Tell me about the 3 fouls on Holgrem? You really believe those were initiated by Holmgrem. Disingenous at best.

I thought only his 4th foul was a bad call. But one team was allowed to handcheck and Arkansas wasn't. The Zags were in the bonus way before Gonzaga. Had to be at least 8 minutes.

Zags missed a lot of open looks. Especially in the first half. Lots. Can't miss that many open shots against a good opponent.

That’s because Arkansas fouled on literally every possession, multiple times.

Arkansas is really good. I rarely lose when betting them. Including tonight, thought 10 was way too big of a spread.

Arkansas played hard and lose from the beginning. The refs never took control and they got away with hand and body checks at will.

And how about the Ark kid that intentionally stuck out his leg to trip the Zag? I guess he just lost his balance.

I bet Ark but thought they won because of the refs. Too many bad calls to list. Refs shouldn't work another game. They were awful

This is really interesting. Two groups who watched the same game, seeing the direct opposite. I wished I would have watched the game closer.
Think of it when we use to play against Pitino's team and they would hack our guys for 40 minutes. And they didn't call many on the Zags but some were questionable. Reffing these days leads a lot to be desired. Something can be obvious right in front of a ref and they don't call it.

Good. Few didn't deserve any more success this season. He's lucky to have a job as a coach right now at all.

I like Gonzaga, but I see justice in them not winning the title this year due to that incident.

While I don't think you should necessary lose your job over the incident, I think the penalty should still be very severe (up to a year long penalty). Not being able to coach the first game against the Northwest Hairstylist School was absurd.
