Maryland cuts seven sports programs

Its not all roses and cupcakes for every ACC school... Maryland just axed 7 sports programs in an effort to remain in the black.

Similar to SU's cuts in the past. One really dumb part of MD's cuts... they cut cross-country and indoor track but kept outdoor track. Track, and especially distance running is year-round. Without cross-country, no distance runners on track team.
