Seems like they could use some big physical guys to complement the skilled guys and be a bit more balanced. Maybe losing some of that explosiveness and major surges that was possible, but you need to be able to compete physically with a Maryland.

As someone who played 4 years in college and graduated at 21, I don’t have much respect for a 24 year old playing his 6th season of college lacrosse.

Agree with this, at some logical point guys need to age out of playing teenagers.

kinda feel gaits to blame like maryland is taking it personally for him passing on coaching there n yet somehow they get tillman. But tillman can still suck a fart out of my a$&!

He keeps getting Covid so they keep giving him another year of eligibility

That first half went as maryland wanted it. If mullen was himself n won faceoffs prob least stop a 8-0 maryland won. Also he had so many violations the last two weeks. Not sure if they’re just calling that more during playoffs than in season. But he def struggled. Mccool makes saves but doesn’t make that 1 save when we get momentum. Also would have like to see some sort of ride or something. With maryland gotta find ways to get ball out of their sticks.

Absolutely no in game adjustments again n no urgency again. When we were down would have liked to see guys off ball on d shut their man off n pole on guy with ball n go at them. So when he’s in trouble any pass he makes will be or should be contested. We once again on D just played to laid back allowing them to do what they wanted. Giving guys 5-8yrds to start their dodge and get hard start. Offense just forcing inside to non open guys. Taking poor able shots.

Ultimately that first half was everything we couldn’t do or struggled with happened. N maryland made us pay for every mistake. Great year even tho poor showing in this game. Hopefully guys realize now they have to be much much better next year. Plus felt ncaa wanted the story line of kirst looking for revenge for 22 chip. Like was always gonna be maryland n cornell.

Either way let’s make off season good n get some good players to fill out team. And let’s repeat back to chip weekend.

Sucks worse than 2013, but not as bad as the final 4 droughts.

MD is the new Princeton. We'll never beat them playing like we do w these kinds of players & philosophy.

Hope this is an upward trend and not just another blip.

They’re just, better. Happy to see we played on MDW again. It’s trending in the right direction

Offense came in on a roll but had exposed Harvard and Princeton defenses which were not great.

I have to think Tillman is the elephant in the room. To limit Cuse to 7 goals (8th was garbage goal) speaks to how well their game plan was designed. McNaney was good but he got staked to an early lead and his defense is stellar. MD doesn't have a lot of stars this year so full credit to Tillman.

It will be very interesting to see how Cornell does on Monday. Cornell has an explosive offense (like Cuse can be) so if Tillman slows them down and beats them, I will just have to tip Desko's cap to Tillman.

Cuse will have a lot of talent going into next year - what they need is more discipline and better coaching which can break down strong defensive teams.

And I hope Ippolito pushes McCool for starter. Ive never been a fan of big tall goalies. Scotties Rogers I know, but aside from cat quick reflexes it makes sense that smaller kids like McNaney are quicker to the ground. McCool struggles on 5 hole. He also struggles off stick high.

One other thought. Maybe MD was responsible for it but Cuse just didn't seem to have the extra juice today. The energy level just didn't seem to be there.

One thing I've noticed from the little time Ippolito has played is that when he makes a save he gets the ball out quick and up the field, we have not had that component in goalies for years.
