Anybody know Spanos' age? Looks like he's either 23 or already 24. Jeez, we need to get the grandpas out of college lacrosse. If I had two wishes: add some serious rules to the transfers, like sitting out a year, and get all the 24 year olds off campus. If you've done a PG year and get 5-6 years of eligibility, that's just embarrassing (and lots of the prep school dudes were held back a year before 1st grade to get a nice little advantage on the other kids...). Go play pro already.
I was still 21 when I played my last game of college lacrosse. There is a HUGE difference between a 21 year old and a 24 year old. It's just NOT good for the game of college lacrosse. I thought it would get better once the covid players were gone, but there are still far too many guys who are 2-3 years too old for college sports.
