just saw the game on dvr after going into internet blackout.
congratulations orange fans. that was an intense game, great atmosphere (really top flite for regular season), and a fantastic orange effort. defense was crazy good.

The LSM's on this team are incredible. 2 starting caliber, and with the way Filardi played arguably 3. Gives this team so much flexibility on D.

The guy that I thought was the most fun to watch was Hottle. Just seems to have “it”.

Also it was insane how many people were in the upper deck on the team side. They closed it down on one end, but still I have never seen it wrapped around that much up there before. Lots of rowdy students and other die hard fans. It was great

He doesn't even look like the same player from last year. Testament to him putting in the work over the summer and fall. This coaching staff needed a few years but after this game I think there's definitely something there.

What an absolutely awesome environment, thrilled to be there. Just an elite game all around. Kids that commit to southern schools with hot chicks and no fans...still missing out.

Our defense has gotten much better. Maryland doesn't have the bounciest of guys by they could almost never get their hands free. Was worried to call our d elite after the first two games but now...

Joey knew no stupid human tricks today. That midrange bullet of his is deadly.

Need to watch the film, faceoffs seemed to get wonky in the second half, and McCool cheated death a couple of times leaving the cage.

Clips from this game need to be part of every recruiting pitch. Primetime under the lights, top 2 matchup, playing in front of 10k+ who know and care about the sport. AND THE WIN. Where else are players going to find that? UNC hasn't even hit 2k fans in the two home games they've had combined. They might barely hit 10k for the season. This is where you go to play lacrosse and have it mean something!

Tillman is a very classy guy and a great coach. Would be happy for him to retire so they can hire someone who's easier to dislike.

Hes an outstanding coach. I hate his style and that 6-5 qtrs game was an abomination but you gotta call a spade a spade.

A few thoughts:
-Wyatt Hottle is making a lot of people eat crow. I'm guessing he got passed over as a recruit by MD so good for him tonight.
-Enjoy Odierna while we can - he's going to get a head coaching job soon at a legit program (I know he coached at Manhattan). McCool missed several he'd like to have back and to keep this MD team under 10 when it should have been 6 or 7 is more than impressive.
-Watching that 2011 MD game was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had as a fan. And yes, I still hold a grudge. Unreal to get over the hump. Enjoy this one fellas.

Watching the replay, what an absolutely ridiculous check and ride by Kittelberger late to help seal it. A freshman SSDM making that play is incredible. Him and Hahn are going to be problems.
