That's incredible. I got the chance to see a no-hitter in person and there are few things in sports that have ever made me as nervous as that last inning. I flipped on the game in the top of the 6th (thank you, MLBTV) and was on the edge of my seat throughout.

My neighors happened to be sitting about 4 rows ahead of me - they left after the 8th inning!!! I kid you not.

I was at Halladay's playoff no-hitter two years ago against the Reds with my two sons. It was an experience I nor they will ever forget, even more awesome to be at a perfect game.

I am curious about all the discussion about this being the greatest perfect game ever? I don't understand the argument. Any perfect game is inherently awesome, and the pitcher by definition was on his game. I just don't see how anyone can with a straight face suggest that an early season perfect game compares with Larsen's World Series perfect game.

The difference in context alone makes the comparison ridiculous in my view.
