the most encouraging sign i see is, a step up in the maturity of hcss. no more pounding podiums and blue collar temper tantrums. he is beginning to demonstrate the leadership that a hc and ceo needs to do. he is getting away from the "regular guy" stuff and focusing what is happening on the field. recruiting is trending up(although i have no idea where strickland is---a question that needs to be answered?)we have some folks who can play, and we need to give him that lattitude--with the staff he has. we need to pay the staff more. marrone was better game day coach, not recruiter. that said, i want hcss back and extented ---for reasons previously stated in several other posts.-- he has the tools to compete---he has players that want to compete. ---we do not need a coordinator coaching revolving door syndrome. just mho
