The ol has been very good in pass pro. 24 sacks allowed with this volume of attempts is excellentJust imagine If we had a half decent offensive line, half decent running game and defense that was actually aggressive
I’d hire him as Qb coach the day he laces them up for the last timeKyle has the patience of Job. On the field after the game, he gave every kid his time. We were outside the stadium and Kyle was one of the last guys out and my grandkids and their friends called his name and he walked 40 yards to take pictures. No complaints, just made a bunch of kids really happy. Coach Brown walked by and I told him his quarterback is very special and has more patience than anyone I ever met. He just smiled and waved to everyone. My grandson is a huge Chiefs fans and he said to Kyle, he hopes the Chiefs drafts him. Kyle said, “but I want to play.”
And a QB with quick reads who isn’t afraid to throw the ball awayThe ol has been very good in pass pro. 24 sacks allowed with this volume of attempts is excellent
If he was just some lightning in a bottle superman I would enjoy this of course but id be less encouraged long termWhat a privilege it has been to watch him play this season.
Thank you Kyle!
Going from the accuracy of Braden Davis to the accuracy of Kyle McCord is like going from Snooki to Alexandria Daddario on the dating circuit. He is the most accurate passer I have ever seen in a Syracuse uniform.
A lot of our success has been McCord’s accuracy. His slant and post throws are terrific and likely difficult to reproduce. If he was just some lightning in a bottle superman I would enjoy this of course but id be less encouraged long term
I think there is a lot the program can learn from this approach. I don't know how much of this passing all the time is by design or on purpose
Consistently good enough to win almost every game
The game is easier this way. Get rid of the call, get easy yards, do it all the time, and use all four downs to keep the ball
Me too.He is the most accurate passer I have ever seen in a Syracuse uniform.
The short passing game helps a lot too and it’s basically another form of running. Lots of quick throws. They’re fine picking up a few yards here and there. Gives me confidence long term. Nixon will adapt to what he has too.If he was just some lightning in a bottle superman I would enjoy this of course but id be less encouraged long term

Grooming him to be a future OC.I’d hire him as Qb coach the day he laces them up for the last time
Makes one wonder how they can be so bad run blocking. Strange dichotomy. The ol has been very good in pass pro. 24 sacks allowed with this volume of attempts is excellent
McCord makes them look good at pass blocking. Nothing he can do to hide bad run blockingMakes one wonder how they can be so bad run blocking. Strange dichotomy.
Only if you're either dyslexic or used to reading Hebrew.I can’t imagine what our record would be this year without him. I think it would be safe to say, not 8-3.
Confluence of player, system, and level of competition. Is it repeatable is the question. If he was just some lightning in a bottle superman I would enjoy this of course but id be less encouraged long term
