I was looking for something else with all this discussion of renovation and found this...a little hard to see but nice parking for a Lax game.

That is a really interesting picture.

I have read that the SU athletic teams originally played in the area where the main quad is now, but that this changed once Archbold Stadium was built in 1907.

Yet we clearly have a game going on. It is at least 1908 as Archbold Gym is prominently on display in the lower right hand corner of the photo.

Very cool.
