Miami Found to have violated NCAA Recruiting Rules

That is why conditions need to be set up on a federal level. Piecemeal state by state is never going to work.

They hit the womens basketball program but ignore football and mens basketball.
The Cavinder twins are among the most marketable college athletes in the country with 1.04M IG followers combined. Miami Football or Basketball doesn't have anyone with their stature. If Miami did things on the up and up, those two would be NIL successes because they showed what anyone with value could get.

John Ruiz is flying too close to the sun. Can't have shell companies acting as cover for pay for play. Miami needs to have legitimate fronts to cover up cash exchanges.

I looked at their stats and they have been a poor ROI. They didn't acclimate to the jump from Fresno State to ACC basketball.

Florida ... the gift that keeps on giving. Pity the UM Women's team that the booster meeting narrowly pre-dated DeSantis's late$t "law" aimed at legalizing direct involvement of coaches in NIL (even more brazen corruption).

Miami should sue the NCAA. That’s a stupid ruling. The players have always been treated as a commodity. If they can’t be introduced to people the University trusts, seems to me a basic violation of the whole NIL construct.

I still don’t understand why the Cavinder twins are a thing.

Some guys have a thing about twins? ;)

Their fame / hoops talent ratio was heavily skewed towards the fame side of things.

TIL that they apparently were also pursuing WWE careers??
Whatever.
