Miami kickoff: 3:30 PM on ESPN

great for tailgating. little disappointed that ABC spurns the conference again but is what it is. ESPN is way better than CW and the usual productions.
I don't believe in jinks but not exactly disappointed that we're not on ABC if you know what I mean.

South Carolina being ranked helped too. Secured that Clemson game for a TV slot to compete with Fox.

Florida - FSU getting a 7pm slot on ESPN/ESPN2 just shows that some teams will never die.
or that they love all things SEC...they chose Tenn at Vanderbilt for the national game at Noon. Guess it may have playoff implications which is why...

12pm ABC: Tennessee at Vanderbilt

The florida vs fsu game makes no sense even with Floridas resurgence. Still from an SU standpoint the 330 kick is fan freeking tastic. A non noon home game for the first time in 2+ months and no issue with it being pitch black by 445 to affect tailgating.

honestly it's best for attendance too (besides a night game). it's a great outcome for us. I just think at some point the conference needs to snag better slots for overall perception reasons but that's a 2025 problem now.

Love it. Disney/ESPN with another slap in the face to the ACC with no ABC slots again but the SEC has been killing it in the ratings all year for ABC so it is understandable they went all SEC again.

Not sure anyone understood how major the impact the SEC moving to the ESPN family would have on the ACC with appearances in ABC. This applies to the B12 as well.

Hopefully we get a big number on ESPN and help position the ACC for more respect next year.

Beating Tennessee next year in the opening game will change perceptions.
The ACC needs to start stepping up and beating the SEC teams.
That starts to happen, and the TV Execs will start to put ACC teams in Prime slots.
That's what Fran is pushing for, do it on the field.

I'm back and in on WestLot tailgate for this one. I believe I had even volunteered an early arrival and assist to set up, transportation dependent.

Man it is pricy to get back to the ‘cuse for that weekend but the last time I saw Miami v Cuse in the Dome we put a smackdown on them - we need my karma in the building!

The ACC can earn respect by having more teams be very good. As I know you know, TV programming selections typically come down to cold, hard math. Better teams get better ratings, and the SEC has been absolutely killing it for ABC this season.

When one conference has 5 teams in the top 10, and 7 in the top 19, while another has 0 in the top 10, and 3 in the top 17, the programming selections are pretty easy to make.

I think 3:30 is a perfect slot for SU. It's not to late, not to early. Get's everyone especially fans into the game. It will be a good scene for die hard fans. We all know the campus will be empty for students, but it will bring the FAN A Game, as well as some other die hard fans. Great way to end the season playing Miami the perceived number 1 and when SU takes them down, like all others in the ACC ranked so far, will be a great way to end the year. And if not, and if close. GREAT shocker to all either way.
