The game never comes down to just one guy.
Eddie had an incredibly efficient game, by his standards.
Not every guy has to play great for us to win.
But 3 of them do - we got that part today, on offense.
But our defense just never gets stops when we need them.
I think our effort has gotten better these last few games.
But it's still not good enough.

The defense has not shown significant improvement during the season. That's on the coaching staff.

We simply give up way to many easy baskets. It's why we often lose and why we lost tonight.

Great question! Miami's lineup is far too powerful for coaching to make any kind of difference.

But someone has to get stats during the game. We had guys get stats.

JJ, Eddie, etc, these guys aren't rocking out on our best teams playing as much as they do now. ESPECIALLY when they cannot play defense.

Eddie is playing a trash team. Everyone should feast on Miami.

I just can't give any more benefit anymore. I'm glad they are giving effort. That's the absolute lowest bar you can ask for. The program needs to demand better. Much better.

We knew that 16-17 team had big issues especially defensively but that team would look like the 2018 warriors against this team.

Based on the number I would say we are somewhere under the Syracuse Boys and Girls Club under 12 youth intramural team #4. I think they are 320th.

Hey, I'll say this. I went to the game in Brooklyn when they played Texas and were clearly out-manned and outcoached. Eddie was LIMPING when walking and was getting work done on his back and legs during timeouts and he still gave a helluva effort. And supported his teammates. And got the crowd into it.

I don't think Eddie is great, but it's not for lack of caring.

I had a feeling Bethea would go off tonight. I’ve watched Miami 6-7 times this year and Bethea was a total non factor. He scored tonight, but his handle and decision making are still very suspect.

Maybe he was auditioning to transfer to Cuse next year? Ah, wishful thinking
