Miami Postgame Thoughts

Fran’s take that big guys beat up on small guys is not working. Our offensive lineman are like statues. They have zero mobility and can’t get out of their own way. Pitt’s small defensive line just toyed with our line. You need athletic lineman to win, not ploppers.
The statues did allow our RB’s to gain about 7 yards a carry.

Fran is who he is. I know some posters here don’t like his style and that’s ok. But should he carry himself in public like a depressed man just because we are experiencing a very difficult situation where the answer is really that the underclassmen need to continue to develop and we need the offseason quick to figure out how to make sure the roster is risk free from falling off a cliff next season if we face similar situations again? I personally haven’t seen the competitive spirit in a head football coach here in a long time. I think Fran just also genuinely enjoys being apart of the game day experience.

This is such a stoopid post. Fran wasn’t being “extra” he was being a real dude who is cool, confident and savvy enough to step to Michael Irvin to pay respect and then tell him what it is.

“Don‘t get used to this ish”

Haha I love it!

Don't get used to it, meaning don't get used to beating SU. As of now we play them once in the next 5 years. Again that can change but logically speaking it doesn't make sense.

If Schiano told Ark Monk the same thing after our 2004 game where Reyes ran all over them, how would that look? What would your reaction have been? We just got our butts handed to us. They punked us. It isn't like we had a hard fought game. If this had been 2017 it would make sense, but not after that crap.

It would look fine. I love that Fran said what he said. He's a competitor.
