Miami is going to want to destroy Syracuse for many reasons considering the success Fran has had down there recruiting. It could be an all time beat down. Hopefully, it's not that type of all timer

My buddy asked me today "if you had to choose, would you rather beat Miami in football and lose to Delaware State in basketball, or lose to Miami in football and beat Delaware State in basketball."

I found that tough to answer. The thought of getting a marquee Top 20 football victory on the road to ease the pain of this season would be wonderful. But, the season is already mostly lost, we aren't beating Notre Dame to get to a bowl, and I really don't want to take a monster step back in derailing the basketball season this early.

Hard to believe that this is just the 3rd ACC game between the schools. But the last 2 Big East games were a combined 108-7... an average of 54-3 (well 3.5). The last 4 (all under Coach P) were 179-20... an average of 45-5. So... to be an all time beat down, we would be looking at 63-3 or something...
