Can't quite understand how much it is beginning to mean to me that the ACC plays well as a conference. Of course my heart is 'Cuse...but I never felt this way about the BE.

I just want those from WVU; the MHVER3's of the world and everyone else to have to find another conference to pick on...actually the ACC is going to be picking on a lot of conferences and teams this year...what a good year to begin the 'Cuse year in the ACC!!!!

I agree, I also never felt this way about the BE, at least the football side. It's good to be in a conference that has the potential to be an elite fb conference.

Va Tech but UF is one of the few teams I despise worse than the Canes.

I disliked Florida under Spurrier and never had a problem pulling for Miami in this matchup. Go 'Canes!

Agree with above posters, feels good to pull for your conference and not simply hope that they just don't embarass everyone else.

It's good to have your conference mates win big games. But lets face it, we haven't really developed a strong hatred for many of these teams yet. Give it a couple of years, and then the conflict will set in. Do we want them to win? Or do we want to see them get their A##es kicked?
