That was the first football game I ever attended. We sat unbeknownst behind Don McPherson’s parents. He came up in the stands to hug them after the game.

I remember that short field option play to Owens being shown so much on tv that day.

Syracuse was the team everyone was excited about in 88. Helped having Mac and his excitement. Flying around w his blue blazer.

I know the offensive system was a factor but I loved when we could have fullbacks like Moose and Konrad average 5+ yards a carry. That's pretty awesome.
