Most people beyond a certain age have bulging discs and some even have herniated discs. MM is young and he wouldn't fit that profile, but the injuries by themselves can be less than severe. Mostly I think it depends on whether the disc is hitting any nerves because if that happens then I seriously doubt that MM or anyone else would be playing. I hope his playing isn't something he regrets down the line.

Wow, incredible he could play with that condition. No wonder he was not his normal self this year. Even with a healthy mustache.
