We are only scratching the surface of what this offense is capable of.

So many dunces for so many years fighting the idea of running the best strategy and preparing for being good

So many years of such ridiculous offenses and throwing random shart at the wall. Pariani, the two backfield weird Minnesota guy, the drunk guy, the hop scotch guy (are they the same) the bubble screen guy, the it guy. Things are better when we spend money on offense

The weird Minnesota guy is Mitch Browning, the bubble screen guy is Rob Spence, mcf’it is obvious. But I don’t know who the drunk/hopscotch Guy is. Brian White?

This is a fun trivia question. Let me take a crack:

Mitch Browning = weird Minnesota guy
Brian White = drunk guy
Phil Earley = hop scotch guy
Rob Spence = bubble screen guy
it = Cool Kid Mickey D

Did I miss any?

We score a lot but don’t have too many big time plays

They should have put up 70 today and that's not a joke. The Dungey penalty along with Howard fumbling the rock at the goal line took 14 points off the board. They also had some baffling penalties. Have to clean up their act this week. Clemson will not let them make those mistakes and get away with it.

we had several big plays.. other that theRily plays none actually led to a direct TD although probably cpuld have had 5-6 big td plays today

What a bunch of BS

But only one was a touchdown that’s my point. At the end of the day Howard fumbled and custis dropped a touchdown.

One of your better efforts.

True, thats why i wasn't a fan of ED running today and taking hits. We still need to find wrs and figure it out and work on our running game. This D was worse than Wagner. Wht not see who can catch the ball downfield instead of catching a bubble.

I'm extremely happy they are working on developing the ability to drive down the field. Much rather see them able to execute consistently than rely on big plays for TD's. That has been a huge problem the last two years, a huge percentage of TD's from outside the redzone and not being able to close inside the 10. The first four games they have focused on establishing the run and working the quick game. That stuff travels. And it wears out the opposing defense.

I was a busy guy this afternoon, but I managed to watch about half of the game. Based on what I saw, the offensive line blocked well on running plays...especially when compared to last year.

Oh...and Neal seemed to be able to find the seams.

Left about 14 points out there with the 1’s. We still can improve if we avoid penalties.
