These first three songs are from their debut album. New album comes out in February.

Their sound reminds me of bands like the Mars Volta or Circa Survive. Elliot Coleman's voice is so similar to Cedric from TMV or Anthony Green. Seems like an obvious comparison.

Nowadays, I probably prefer the female voice in rock and metal. This woman has one of the best voices out there.

This band was around for years but I never cared for Tarj's vocals. But then she left and Anette Olzon joined the band.

I think she only did two albums with them before leaving and Floor Jansen took over. Don't much care for Floor's vocals either. They made a movie to go along with this album. I've never watched the movie but based on how the dudes dress in this band I suspect it might be similar to the Pirates of the Carribean series.
