What will be interesting is if the SEC beats on each other, with each team with 2 loses, would there be a snub for 1 loss teams from other conferences?

EX:
FSU (undefeated season)
Oregon (1 loss Arizona)
Baylor or Oklahoma (If they beat Baylor)
Michigan State (1 loss Oregon)

Also love that these rankings don't matter that much anymore. Give me Miss St., FSU, Baylor, and Arizona in the most unexpected college football playoff ever. It'd be 4 teams with completely different styles playing it out in, what I guess would be, a ridiculously entertaining playoffs.

what happens now if Georgia wins out to 12-1. Ole miss and miss st win out only losing to each other say miss st finishes 11-1 losing in an epic final game with ol miss. then ol miss loses in an epic game with georgia.. three 1 loss SEC teams who would all be ranked at that point in the top 5 ..

miss st might have had the best year of anyone beating 4 top 10 teams and loses out? do you drop Ol miss who beats miss st and will have beaten 4 top 15 teams? can you drop georgia who beats Ol miss and wins the SEC?

baylor could finish undefeated with 4 top 15 wins too.

Right now I would love a playoff of:
FL St Vs Mich St
Miss St Vs Baylor

There are however still about 10-12 teams left that can make a run at the playoff so we shall see how everything turns out. I think the payoff is building more excitement this year than the BCS ever did.

2 SEC teams are likely to be in the playoffs this year. Florida State if they win out would be the 3rd I think the PAC-12 will canalize each other up. Michigan State won't have the wins to justify a playoff berth.
I think we will see 1 Big XII, Florida State, 2 SEC teams.

Florida State is not the best team thru 7 weeks. I have no problem with Mississippi State's resume placing them first. The polls should be about who you have played and beaten. Not what you had preseason and then amending below what you had preseason. Florida State has to go 13-0 and they will be a playoff team who cares if they are number 1 or number 4 right now.
If I was voting 1. Mississippi State 2. Ole Miss 3. Florida State 4. Baylor 5. Notre Dame
