wrongIf Dino is retained and/or new coach comes in and wants 3-3-5, they should definitely make a play for Arnett again.
Mike Hopkins involved?Hearing Ryan Grubb the Washington OC from some alumni.
Drain bramageTale as old as time.
Hopefully for him it's a Luke Fickell-type situation. Fickell was completely in over his head when he coached Ohio State that one sandwich year between Tressel and Urban. But he was still young and eventually got his feet under him, and since then he's had a lot of success. That’s tough for Arnett. He was coming in to be DC for Mike Leach. Never expected to be put in the position of HC like he did. His first head job following Leach at a big school. Nowhere to go but down.
Not to mention they gave him one freaking year. That’s absurd.
Should have been our next HC but that makes too much sense to happen.Don’t be surprised if Dan Mullen is hired at Mississippi State. Coach of the Year in his previous stint.
Would kill for him to be our next coach. Penix was not that good for those who watched him and Indiana. Grubb made him an NFL Qb and that offense is the best to Watch.Hearing Ryan Grubb the Washington OC from some alumni.
I agree. I would hope he'd get an interview. His offensive system indoors would be something.Would kill for him to be our next coach. Penix was not that good for those who watched him and Indiana. Grubb made him an NFL Qb and that offense is the best to Watch.
Hell no. He couldn’t leave us quick enough. No way. Plus his d sucked there. Tony white a 1000x more.If Dino is retained and/or new coach comes in and wants 3-3-5, they should definitely make a play for Arnett again.
“Wyatt Rogers, Will’s father and a Brandon high school football coach, says Zach Arnett, Leach’s successor, promised his son the plan was to keep Leach’s Air Raid offense.
it's about what you would expect
Arnett not keeping his word? Inconceivable.“Wyatt Rogers, Will’s father and a Brandon high school football coach, says Zach Arnett, Leach’s successor, promised his son the plan was to keep Leach’s Air Raid offense.
“(Arnett) flat-out lied to us, sitting in our den,” Wyatt Rogers said. “He said they would be crazy to change offenses after all the success we had had…”
But change the offense was exactly what Arnett did, scrapping the Air Raid for a pro-style offense that rarely clicked.”
