Mizzouri to SEC...let the merry-go-round resume*

I'm hearing WVU, Cincy, Lville and Rutgers to the B12 and Kansas, KSt, Baylor and ISU to the BE.

Thoughts?

Thought 1: Bees is hearing voices

Thought 2: Has Bees sought help for this?

Thought 3: Bees has been very busy with this new site and that explains his "confusion"

I'm holding out for #3, don't let me down, Bees. Love what you've done with this site so far, not sure I can handle what it would be if you are really hearing voices. :D

There has been so much "chatter" I thought I would toss out trading 4 teams from each conference. I figured everyone would know it was done tongue in cheek. So #1 is probably the right answer. :)

I figured you were just trying to start your own rumour to see how far it would take off. Sort of a beta test for the impact potential of this site.

Sorry, feeble attempt at continuing your humor.

West Virginia adds absolutely nothing to the SEC. No way, no how will they ever be an SEC school. I think they should just play themselves since they just don't fit in with anyone else.

A tradition of burning couches?Beating opponents fans?Smashing out car windows of opponent fans?
They are tradition rich

If you think UConn was more valuable then you would be hearing about them in this expansion talk. UConn has never been brought up by the B1G last year it was Nebraska, Notre Dame, Missouri, and Rutgers. UConn is begging to get into the ACC and weren't a target. Even the B12 expansion talk is focusing on Louisville, Cincinnati, West Virginia, TCU, and even Rutgers mentioned. UConn is a way better basketball school(probably top 5 nationality)than Rutgers, and I even believe you guys have passed them in football, but your attention seeking AG now Senator KILLED your school with ACC. The ACC is in the only conference that would be interested in UConn, but because you guys torched Boston College, and Miami they aren't going to do any favors. When you guys filed that lawsuit(btw WestLaw the case in Blumenthal's complaint he torches Schalala don't think she has forgotten that) guess which school stayed completely out of it? The answer is Syracuse and guess what our relationship with ACC leadership remained well above cordial. Good luck in the future, but while your President is doing everything she can to get you guys into the ACC its severely unlikely you guys get in unless you guys could get Notre Dame.

The suit was filed in CT for logical reasons. Pitt was as equally at fault for it as UConn. CT's AG filed the suit. Guy isn't there anymore. Neither is the governor, lt. governor, football coach, or athletic director. And it was 8 years ago. If the ACC wants to ignore a valuable property because of a lawsuit 8 years ago but ignore Pitt's role in it, then they're dumber than I thought.

Also, there was a point last year when UConn to the B1G was a rumor. Cowherd spent an entire show on it because the rumor was so hot. But it was like most of the rumors in the end.

The value of a property is judged/determined by those considering the acquisition of said property. Thus far, the ACC, while looking to expand, found two other properties that they valued more.

I read the suit the CT long arm statutes and PA long arm statutes aren't that much different I checked them out after reading the complaint. You guys based the suit off the fact that BC was harming the welfare of 5 plaintiffs and most specifically UConn because of the potential harm don to events within CT i.e. thg Big East Women's Basketball tournament. The choice of CT was done by Blumenthal and I don't believe the BE suits in Providence filed there own lawsuit or they would have done so in RI. Grudges don't die hard and UConn has not mended fences with BC nor attempted to do so till the Herbst has been attempting to get you guys in the ACC. Calhoun's big mouth about never playing BC hasn't been forgotten. I don't think UConn basketball deserves the cards it is being dealt, but SU didn't piss anyone off at the ACC and look where it got us.
Cowherd said HE believed UConn was the fit for the B1G, but it was never discussed. Cowherd is the ultimate frontrunner, but the schools linked with the B1G last year where RU, Mizzou, Nebraska, and Notre Dame. Syracuse, Pitt, and UConn weren't discussed.

I could care less who goes where as long as FSU and VT stay in the ACC.

And for the record, the issue was never that UConn and Rutgers were stealing our recruits - because they still suck. It's that SU could no longer lure any talent away from the big boys.

Oh come on. Look at the kids who would be available if RU still stunk and UConn was a 1AA. SU would have a lot more talent and depth. Sanu and Harrison alone would both be here. Can you imagine if Lemon was our 4th best WR?

I agree and it's a combo of both. If SU can get kids to say yes instead of going to ND or PSU and we can get the lions share of NJ and CT instead of RU and UC we will be doing quite well.

@PeteThamelNYT: Big 12 administrator just told me that the league is expected to settle at 10 schools.
