Whitehead led all scorers with 19 pointsas Railsplitters advance

They won two of three matchups from the Railsplitters, though star sophomore Isaiah Whitehead missed the last meeting in the Brooklyn borough playoffs and sustained an ankle injury late in the third quarter of the middle meeting with Lincoln ahead by seven points. Boys High rallied for an overtime win without him.

Fludd, however, isn’t fazed by Whitehead’s return.
“It doesn’t make a difference who’s playing,” he said. “We’re gonna win.”

However, Dudley’s kind words didn’t extend to teammates Sebastian Telfair and Hakim Warrick, who were coaching the opposing crew of celebrities.

“Let me put it this way,” Dudley said jokingly. “I knew we were going to win before the game started.”

Warrick, who assisted Telfair, threw his head coach under the bus by stating, “I think they’re going to bump me up to the head spot. They’re talking about giving Bassy the axe.”

Great coach, great staff, great group of players, fan friendly. Very sound fundamentally, very driven. If you get a chance visit the wonderful softball complex, catch a game, you won't be sorry.

Now that they have their sea legs and Jen is healthy once again, she had mono, this team is headed for the top 25.

Pretty damn good considering most of the elite teams are from warm weather climates such as, Alabama, California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisianna, Kentucky, Florida, Hawaii.

Last season our RPI ended up at #26

What Leigh has done at SU is nothing short of a miracle.

Are you listening Doug?

When Evan Turner was drafted in the #2 spot, I saw a TV interview of him alongside Wes Johnson, who was clearly about 2 inches taller than Turner, altho they were both listed at 6-7. So you've got Evan Turner as a 6-5 SF/SG who does a little bit of everthing, but (a) doesn't rebound exceptionally well; (b) doesn't shoot the 3 exceptionally well; (c) is not an elite physical specimen, and (d) is basically a really good "glue guy". This pick had disaster written all over it.

Meanwhile, Wes is maybe too much of a nice guy to assert himself enough to be a SF in the NBA, which is really the "alpha dog" position on any pro team. While Wes had great skills, I just don't see him being assertive enough to ever be that guy.

I loved the article about Orange coat guy. Definitely an inspirational story.
