I saw it mentioned on the board that Mookie could potentially transfer after this year and be eligible to play right away at a new school, basically following the Greg Paulus route.
Is he on track academically to pull that off?
If he is, transferring before this season would have been a bad decision in terms of PT. At least this year he gets to play in some games while at SU, whereas if he'd transferred, he would be on the bench the whole season.
In either scenario, he's eligible to play next year, but by staying here this year, he'll get court time this season in games that count.
