That would be true if certain journalists didn't troll these waters for stories and themes. If JF hadn't gotten hurt and he started tearing it up for UMASS, I 10000% guarantee you Bailey and Mink would be all over it.

I don't mind pointing out the weakness, at all. But JF is old news.

We're waiting for next year. Hopefully an SU back starts getting some production before JF does at UMass.

it may not be helpful but the talk will continue as will questions about why we blew Pierre's redshirt and then aren't using him, until we get the running game going. It's just the nature of fans.

Dino has said himself that Pierre's fumble is costing him PT. I don't think he trusts him at this point.

I think what Babers actually said, was ball security is job security. In Pierre's defense, it was a botched exchange. The ball might be on the ground in practice.

Nobody has ever been high on Josh Thomas' play and Zaire has had his issues. Sure they have a lot of game experience and obviously Zaire's leadership can't be in understated but I'm not 'that' worried with these losses. I think Bennett is the biggest loss of the three. That kid is literally all over the field, is great in coverage and has a lot and TFL and hits like a truck to.

Even with all the snaps they get, the backups, Guthrie and Armstrong are getting a ton of snaps and experience to, they won't be totally green. From a physical standpoint if Richards is the guy in the middle, he's as big, a lot taller and a lot faster than Zaire. We'll see.

I think the Colts were high on Josh Thomas' play at one point, but I would have to agree that he has contributed absolutely nothing to this year's defense.

It's like he's not even out there.

I'm probably as frustrated as anyone that Strickland is our starting tailback, but do we really need a 4 or 5 page thread calling out a kid who obviously busts his butt and performs about as well as he's able to within his capability.

Do we need a huge upgrade at RB? Absolutely. Maybe it's just the title, but I find this thread a little tough on a good program player who deserves our respect.
