1. Richmond - every snake needs a head and he appears to the best floor leader.
2. Buddy - becoming a proven scorer, just wish he was better at D, rebounds and his handle.
3. Center - do not care who, we just need someone to step forward and fill that gapping hole in the middle.
4. Q - he has the potential to be a breakout player, but cannot seem to turn that corner to stardom.
5. Benny - freshman are always tbd. Big adjustment from HS to college.
6. JG and Bras off the bench.
Assuming Marek is done and AG is moving on, although I would welcome them both back. Woody is the big unknown right now. None of us knows what happened behind closed doors.

I'm not sure kadray will be back. And I don't think playing time will be the reason he leaves if he does. And Buddy is far more important than Kadray. Buddy is the reason we are still alive. Buddy is a star. We will have a very good team next year.

Where would he go?

Without Richmond next year, this team is .500 in the ACC and on the bubble again.
I don't have a crystal ball but I think we will be good with or without. Now, if you were to say without Buddy, maybe you would be right. I like Kadray but we will have players without him on the team. Oh, and if he leaves, it won't be because of playing time.

If we lose Richmond we are in big trouble, we would need a transfer pg, hopefully your feeling or info is wrong.

It would be very difficult to get a pt guard to come here if he is any good. No one wants to come in and be a back up. Having said that, I never post feelings.

So you are telling us hes gone?

here’s a thought not based on anything except a wild idea that came to me this morning. Would Howard Washington return?

I didn't say that either. I said it wasn't a feeling. Nothing is certain (other than Woody leaving) until it is certain. This was a tough year for kids. Especially freshman. Very difficult to make relationships with other students. Contrary to what this board thinks,it will not be the end of the world if he decided he would rather be someplace else. I hope he doesn't. Love him as a player. But if he leaves, depending on who comes back, we will be good. We have a star coming back in Buddy. We have a 5 star forward in Benny. And we have pieces that could be very good. I'm not putting all of my hopes in a foot locker or a phone bill or a guard that doesn't start.

I don't know why Richmond would go anywhere, he is going to get plenty of pt next year, you can play 3 guards.
Maybe if he leaves, it has very little to do with playing time.

Now, that is a great question. Under this situation, that would be close to perfect. Not going to excite anyone on the board but a very solid idea.

You can't have two guards on your roster and expect success, your a twisted ankle away from disaster. I am very high on this team if most of our guys come back, if we lose Kadary, q, Griff, Marek and Sidibe, and only bring in Benny, I don't know how you can have high expectations. Yes it was a very difficult year for everyone, next year should be better, don't see why this kid would leave.

Solid idea for Joe and Buddy to play all 40 then. I really liked HoWa, but he is a 4th guard at Cuse, not a 3rd guard

Well - John Gillon came in as a transfer, with the idea that he'd be the 3rd guard (most likely) given that we had Frank returning to be our starter at PG.

Except Frank was hurt and didn't play well, so eventually Gillon took his starting spot, and the team started playing better.

Assuming the worst, and that Kadary doesn't return -
given the MASSIVE number of kids in the portal this year, I'd be completely shocked if we didn't manage to pull in another guard to compete w/ Joe (& Buddy - LOL) for minutes.

Someone would come here to be the 3rd guard if the doomsday scenario happened.
