Marcus Liberty
Jalen Rose
Kenny Anderson
Sam Perkins
Sidney Green (He and Bruin said they were a package deal)
Carlton Hines
Anthony Davis
Tommy Lewis
Jay Bilas

Kenny Anderson

Jamal Mashburn and Jalen Rose both supposedly had SU really high before we were under the NCAA investigation.

And Donyell Marshall. Our probation contributed to UConn’s initial success big time.
Oh man, I didn't know that one. That first probation really set us back. Imagine if we had gotten 2 or 3 of the elite guys we lost.

What's the Kenny Walker story? We know how Kentucky cheated back in the day, far worse than us. I didn't know Sky Walker had interest in us

A recent one that could have changed not jjst our last few years but also CBB in general - Andre Jackson

Didn’t Shai Gilles Alexander want to come here and Boeheim wasn’t interested in him as much as another guy?
Yep, Quade Green and ironically we lost both to Kentucky.

Sam Perkins was a player that JB made the trip to Albany for almost every one of his games. He recruited this kid like crazy. I remember trying to listen to a sports radio show in Albany trying to hear anything about this kid. We didn’t have the internet or social media to get us information. We had “Big East Briefs” to read about recruiting. How times have changed.

Anthony Davis is one that stung and Nerlens Noel afterwards. Both late Kentucky closer bags.

Lowery and DiVincenzo for sure. Not sure about Brunson. Jay Wright benefitted greatly by our miss steps.

We lost Karlton Hines to the streets. He was making more money than JB.

We chose not to pursue some guys in favor of others that but us in the ass (Kevin Huerter).

Most recently, Isaiah Stewart. What is interesting about Kyle Lowery, wasn't SU the ones who started the dominoes by having Josh Wright commit?

Does anyone know where Josh is nowadays?

Don't know, but he hit 4 clutch free throws in the last 20 seconds or so against Pitt to clench the 2006 Big East tournament title. Jonny kind of made Josh irrelevant.
