Biggest drop off ever was after 2003. Only year we had REAL success...Who cares?

The following year. He actually had a pretty good year that following season, with Owens.
 
It took us a few years to recover from Etans departure IIRC. Melo is number one but I think the talent loss after 2000 is underrated.
 
Pearl, Raf, and Alexis was huge at the time. Made out ok with Sherm, DC, and an improved Seikaly.

I completely agree with this. That was huge but having Douglas come in next made it not seem so bad. I think that is what makes people remember Wallace and Z. We went from the final 4 to losing by like 50 to Kentucky in the Great Alaskan Shootout the next year. Losing 4 people from last year along with the AO, Andy and Wes year are my two biggest.
