Mother of Oranges: How Juli Boeheim became the matriarch of Syracuse basketball

We often talk about who will replace JB when he retires, but never does anyone ask who will replace Juli when JB retires. What are the chances that we find a head coach good enough to replace JB who also brings along with him a partner who can fill the void that Juli will leave?

There are a lot of good wives/mothers out there. But Juli is one of a kind. Will be tough shoes to fill.

I still think back to that Isaiah Stewart recruiting video when Julie baked a cake and presented it to Stewart's dad for his birthday. I thought for sure that we had a great chance to sign Stewart at that moment. Obviously his relationship with Hop trumped that but that was probably Julie in her regular element.
