Moving to Syracuse..

Cicero and Manlius are the worst. No infrastructure. Both places keep building without building roads. Awful traffic and terrible socially . Commuting on RT 92 and 31 is awful. Not LA or Tampa like but awful for Syracuse. If you swim in a pool in Cicero at dusk, be prepared to get a blood tranfusion. Mosquitos will carry you away. Stay away from those two areas and you'll be fine. Btw, Marsh is absolutely correct about Lyndon Corners. Good Luck and Welcome.

Haha Manlius is nicer then Cicero. But if your looking for stuff to do. Neither of those are anything.

tipphill is great for price and activity the area still has character.the upside as well as the available housing is generally a house or a large flat in a two family house--much more room than a garden apt. downside is you must find one with off street parking, you probably will not find ca, but rather window units and check the age and condition of the windows and ask about insulation. most of the houses up there, were built in early 1900---1940.excellent public transportation.

Personally I'd vote for Onondage Hill but that might have something to do with growing up there. I'd move back to Syracuse in a minute given the right job.
